Lodging and Site Rates

All our guests are entitled to a clean and maintained site or lodging unit. 

Please observe check-out time so we can provide a high standard of cleanliness to everyone coming in after you depart.

 

Extended Check-out Available for $2.00 per person

11 AM – 2 PM only (must be paid at Check-In, based on availability of incoming guests)

Extended Check-out may not be available for all Lodging, due to incoming guests at 3 PM

All Site Rates are Based on 2 Persons.

Additional Guests at sites, 4 Years and over are $2.00 each, maximum 6 people at any one site.

No charge for infants and children under 4 years.

 

Due to size of our improved pads, standard (non-group) tent sites they are for ONE (1) tent and ONE (1) vehicle.

A child’s small pup‑tent or canopy is acceptable. Additional parking is provided in our visitor parking area, not at site.

We have a 2‑family site and adjoining RV/tent sites available, as well as a small and large group area.

 
VISITORS:  The swimming pool and kids’ Tube Slide is free to registered guests staying at the Resort.  The pool is also available for visitors of registered guests (limited hours).  Your visitors’ pool (day use fee) fee is $3.00 per person, and the pool is open to your visitors 9AM – 3PM, seven days a week. Registered guests may use the pool from 9AM – 8 PM. For FREE

10% discount (daily) for AARP, AAA and Good Sam members off standard published/posted rates with a valid membership card presented at check-in upon arrival, you must let us know when you make your phone or mail reservation to get discount. Then just show your card upon arrival and we do not have to redo paperwork.

Large Group Site Area for Tents (see visitor policy)

NW Corner of park –  adjoins hilly fields and pasture – shaded area – easy access for motorcycles

Bring your group or large family – we can accommodate you in our new group tent camping area!  You’ll have water, 15‑amp basic  electric, picnic tables, and a large fire pit. Two covered areas can be used as a dining shelter or shaded place in wet weather.
Rate is per person at all group areas, with a minimum of 8 people, maximum of 20 people (additional on request) $8.00 (each person)

 A private restroom adjoining site is available May 15 thru July 15 or you can use the nearby campground showers and restrooms.

Reservations, Methods of Payment

Phone Reservations are confirmed with the return of mailed signed confirmation (white copy) and deposit totaling 50% of a multiple-night stay or full payment for a one-night stay. The signed confirmation must be received within 10 days after it has been sent to you.  We accept phone reservations from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., 7 days a week.

We accept most major credit cards, as well as
money orders, travelers checks, and personal checks (for deposit only)

for lodging must be accompanied by a valid driver’s license.

Dogwood Springs Park at Jasper Resort is a member of the

Jasper and Newton County Resorts, Lodging, Campgrounds and RV Park Co. Group

Cancellation Policy:  We will refund 50% of your paid deposit amount if we receive cancellation notice prior to 30 days of your scheduled arrival date.  If you cancel within 30 days of arrival, your payment/deposit will not be refunded.  If you arrive later than your scheduled date or leave early, we will charge you for all reserved dates at check-in.  We are a destination resort, and 10% or less of our guests are drive-by.  However, if we can rent your cancelled or shortened reservation to another guest, we will mail you a future-stay credit good for 1 year and transferable.

For the consideration of all guests, QUIET TIME is observed 10PM – 7AM

Anyone planning “parties” or "visitors" from local hotels and campgrounds resort should consider this time element!

  Pets

  

Pet owners please read before you consider bringing your family pet, whether inside or outside pet!

 

We are one of only two lodging establishments left in this area who will accept pets.  We do so if you, the pet owner, will be considerate to non-pet owners.  We are pet owners and pet lovers, but many of our guests are not, and we must respect that.  The following has been instrumented due to past problems with a few pets.  We have had a few pet owners with lack of responsibility in taking care of their pets and protecting others from them.  We’ve had to adjust our rules to the following.  After several serious dog bites by family-friendly dogs of our guests or their visitors, we have a “no tolerance” policy to protect all guests.

 

     Pets are never to be left unattended in our lodging or barking at a site, and must be on a leash 100% of the time.  If they disrupt or annoy others repeatedly, you may be asked to leave.  Some dogs are not conducive to a campground lodging setting.  You will need to take your dog anywhere you go or lock them in your RV if you’ll be leaving the park for an extended amount of time.  This is for the safety of our other guests and keeping your pet from being left in an unfamiliar surrounding and barking.

     We reserve the right to refuse large or aggressive/mean dogs, no matter what the size.  You must, at check-in or at time of reservation, disclose to us that you have a dog/animal that you will be responsible for while you are staying with us.

 

     FEES:  There is a $10.00 charge for each pet in our lodging units – PER NIGHT.  This fee helps with additional cleaning needs we perform:  washing and deodorizing throw rugs, furniture cleaning, tick/flea treatment, pet hair removal, etc., for consideration of other guests who check in after you, who do not have pets or don’t want to sleep where your dog or cat did.

 

     There is also a refundable $50.00 CASH DAMAGE DEPOSIT PER PET for our lodging units.  This fee will be held for one (1) day after check-out and mailed back to guests if no damage is found to rugs, contents, furniture, floor, etc. after the unit is thoroughly cleaned and inspected.

 

     YOU MUST PICK UP AFTER YOUR PET and dispose of its waste in a trash receptacle, NOT leaving it on the ground.  This will prevent children and others from stepping in your pet’s waste and tracking it into their place or into our facilities.  Further, pets are not allowed near pool, restrooms, bathhouses, showers or anywhere people unfamiliar with your pet are gathered, which may stress your animal and/or cause an incident that could be prevented.  Your cooperation is appreciated by everyone.

 

     Absolutely NO DOGS/ANIMALS are to be on the campground property that are not disclosed at time of your check-in.  This means if your visitors have a dog, it is not allowed on the property or in their vehicle on our property, for any reason at anytime.  NO EXCEPTIONS.
